Let's make this official!

Sign the petition to the Prime Minister

Prime Minister:

The law says “You shall not murder.”

Australia is a signatory to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which recognises the inherent dignity and the equal and inalienable rights of “all members of the human family.” It further recognises, “Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person,” and, “Everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law.”

In the same year representatives of the world’s medical professionals agreed to pledge to “maintain the utmost respect for human life from the time of conception.” 96% of biologists still agree each human life begins at fertilisation.

We petition you to officially declare the Sunday on or nearest each anniversary of the first legalisation of abortion in Australia “Sanctity of Life Sunday“, a day on which the nation is invited: to acknowledge that every human life is sacred and a gift from God, to mourn those lives lost to abortion, and to commit ourselves to defending life.

We believe these are foundational values upon which to build a society of justice and mercy.

Make "Sanctity of Life Sunday" a national day.
